Out of Control
An original contemporary abstract painting using acrylics and markers on a sheet of 18” X 24” Canson XL Mixed Media paper . This painting was made with a very wet process laying down marks on a dry paper, then adding free flowing heavy body and ink acrylics in a free form. Some Golden titanium white heavy body acrylic was washed on too and it was diluted in the process by the water on the surface. Some distant “watercolor” type features can be found where the wet acrylics were allowed to dry in place. A very unique piece or art.
This piece is sold unmated and unframed. Shipping is simple as it could be rolled up in a heavy-duty tube and mailed. This piece was painted with a lot of water dilution of the acrylics and markers and that media leaves the paper with some inherent minor warping and unevenness. It is hard to accomplish the same bright intensity and creativity without using water and a paper that has not been gessoed.
