Artfinity Synthesis Paper Art
A new piece of art on 11” X 14” Artfinity Synthesis synthetic paper. I used what I had on the desk in a quick 20-minute painting to test the paper. The materials I used were acrylic inks, heavy body acrylic white for the sky, a spatula, a plastic hotel key, a water color brush, and a pen to sign it. I started this painting by laying out a horizon line with a few dark soft pastels I had laying around. These acrylics dry rapidly at our humidity levels so you have to move quickly. In the end there were a few place the inks or water on the brush had pooled and I used a wet Viva towel to wipe off the excess. The effect was so cool, because it removed the pigment down to the raw paper again leaving it really white.
