Burn It Down No.2
In followup to Burn It Down No.2 I wanted to change the view slightly, but not completely. No.1 had the feeling of a cabin or small house possibly on a city street? In No.2 I wanted to isolate the structure and show more detail in the windows and foundation, but definitely keep a safe distance from it also. I really liked the use of red color and keeping the whole painting one of high value. In this one I wanted to give the feeling that a lot of water had been used on the fire. I gave it some reflections in the front of the structure for this reason. Just like painting No.1 I used a black Stabilo Woody to make some dark marks that are deliberate mark-making for interest and direction.
