Cielo Amarillo

$300.00

A pastel sketch on UART 400 sanded board 11” X 14” using a variety of soft pastels from Rembrandt to Sennelier. I had an hour just before dusk tonight to sketch out some shapes with the intent to use alcohol and create drips/runs with interesting features for the background underpainting. It was windy and got dark early so I put down some soft buttery pigment in well known shapes to let it set until tomorrow. I have posted the painting, some close-ups, and a b&w image I use to check my values. Take a look and let me know what you think.
