Mellow Yellow
This is a contemporary abstract painting on 11" X 14" acid-free paper using acrylics. I painted it back when I had been studying Cy Twombly, we have the book, so that could have been influential. I made some real unique additions in blue with a cerulean blue acrylic ink. It's hard to get a photo that is as dynamic as the actual painting. I use black Stabilo woody markers and a No.8b pencil often in my abstracts.
