A Fine Pair
Two 11" X 14" contemporary abstract paintings on acid-free paper. A lot of water was used to make these abstracts where the colors ran freely with the pooling and puddling that naturally occurs. The papers were thoroughly saturated to allow this effect and give up control over the outcome. I did add some drops of cerulean blue acrylic ink as highlights after partial drying of the surface. It was hard to get a good photo to truly represent the depth of color and value in these two painting.
